Women's Volleyball Announces 2019 Schedule

FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton women's volleyball team has released their schedule for the 2019 season. The 29-game slate features 10 home matches while the remaining 19 will be on the road.

The Titans kick off the season with the Navy/White scrimmage on August 17 in Titan Gym. This will be the first chance for the Titan fans and supporters to see the 2019 team live in action. Entry to the match is free for everyone.

Fullerton will then host future Big West foe UC San Diego in Titan Gym for an exhibition match before the official start of the season. Entry will be free once again with first serve scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

The Titans will begin their season with 12 straight road games starting in Moscow, Idaho as they take part in the Idaho Volleyball Classic hosted by the University of Idaho. They will play three matches starting with two on Friday, August 30 starting with Eastern Washington at 11:30 a.m. and then Illinois-Chicago at 3:30 p.m. Fullerton will then face the host Vandals on Saturday, August 31 at 11:30 a.m. to close out opening weekend.

Next up will be a tournament in Chicago, Illinois hosted by Chicago State. The Titans will take on the host Cougars on Thursday, September 5 at 4:00 p.m. On Friday, September 6, they will face Western Carolina at 9:30 a.m. before closing out the weekend with Alabama State on Saturday, September 7.

Fullerton will then play in one more non-California tournament as they head to Abilene, Texas for three games from September 12-14. On Thursday, Sep. 12, they will face host Abilene Christian at 4:00 p.m. to open up the weekend. They will then face North Texas on Friday at 1:00 p.m. and close out the weekend with Prairie View A&M on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.

The last tournament of the season will be the UC Riverside Classic hosted by UCR. The Titans will only play two games taking on Seattle University on Friday, September 20 at 3:30 p.m. and then close out their non-conference schedule with Penn on Saturday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m.

The Titans begin Big West action at UC Riverside on Tuesday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. Fullerton's first home match is the second game of conference as they host the defending conference champions of Cal Poly on Friday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. The Titans and Mustangs will also matchup in the final game of the regular season on Saturday, November 23 in San Luis Obispo, California.
