BROOKLYN, NY – The Titans did it again, as they earned their fourth straight sweep, this time a 3-0 (25-15, 25-9, 25-14) pounding over Delaware State, Friday morning inside the Genovesi Center in the opening match of the Terrier Invitational.
Fullerton (4-1) has now won four consecutive contests, with all four being sweeps. It marks the program's longest win streak since the 2013 campaign.
For the fifth consecutive math Madeline Schneider led all players in kills with 13, while Felicia Marshall was close to notching another double-double, as she went for seven kills and nine digs. Neena Dimas went for a team-high and career-best 11 digs in the match.
It seemed to be another déjà vu type of match for the Titans, as once again they never trailed and dominated throughout. Just like yesterday, the second set seemed to be their strongest, as they boasted a .321 attack percentage. Fullerton struck for 11 kills and just two errors for the frame.
The Titans continued to cruise, winning the first set by 10 points, the second set by 16 and the third frame by 11.
The Titans look to finish off their road trip with their win streak still intact, as they take on Bucknell tomorrow at 6 am PT and then St. Francis Brooklyn at 11 am PT to close out tournament play.
