ANAHEIM, Calif.,  - Canyon Barry and Anthony Stitt each scored 14 points to lead a quartet of Cougars in double figures as College of Charleston handed Cal State Fullerton a 61-48 loss in the third round of the DIRECTV Wooden Legacy at Honda Center on Sunday afternoon.

Charleston (3-5) also received double-digit efforts from junior forward Adjehi Baru, who poured in 13 points and 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the year, as well as freshman guard Joe Chealey who added 12 points.

The four players combined for 53 of the team's 61 points.

led the way for Fullerton (2-6) scoring 14 points and grabbing six rebounds. Senior forward Marquis Horne added nine points and five rebounds in the loss.
Junior guard Alex Harris returned from injury for the first time since Nov. 16 vs. Santa Clara.

The Titans and Cougars exchanged baskets to open up the second half, but a 6-0 run with 13:15 left pulled Fullerton within seven, 42-35. With 9:52 left, Sheldon Blackwell knocked down a corner trey to keep the Titans in the game, but back-to-back baskets by Stitt brought the Cougars lead back up to 12.

The Titans pulled within seven again after Williams converted a three-point play off a Blackwell steal with 4:57 left, but would only record one field goal in the final five minutes of play.
The Titans shot a season-low 31 percent (18-of-58) from the floor and 25 percent from behind the arc, while Charleston shot 41 percent and knocked down 4-of-13 attempts from three-point range.

Fullerton entered halftime trailing College of Charleston, 35-23, despite 11 first-half points from Williams, who shot a flawless 3-of-3 from three-point range in the first 20 minutes. Despite Williams hot streak, as a team Cal State Fullerton was held to a .310 shooting percentage, while the Cougars knocked down 52.4 percent (11-of-21) of their opportunities.
