Ran in two races for the Titans…Started off the year placing 11th among the Titans at the UCR Highlander Invitational with a 5K time of 20:22.84…Clocked a 5,000 meter time of 20:45.91 at the Titans Invite which placed her 13th among CSF runners.

Competed in five meets for the Titans ... Began the season with a time of 19:54.9 in the 5K at the Mark Covert Classic, good for 29th place ... Took 35th place at the USD Invite with a 6K time of 24:42 ... Ran the 5K at the Highlander Invitational in 18:58.44 and finished in 43rd place.

CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2015)
Competed for Cal State Fullerton in all six meets…saved her best performance for the Big West Championship, completing the 6k course in Riverside, Calif., in a time of 23:06.85, good for 55th overall as well as the fifth Titan to cross the finish line…a week later was the sixth Titan to complete the 6k course at the NCAA West Regional in Seattle in a time of 23:46.7 good for 204th overall (11/13).

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2015 graduate of Ocean View High School in Huntington Beach, Calif… four-year varsity letterwinner in both cross country and track and field for head coach Enrique Najera…three-time MVP for the cross-country team (2011-13)…as a sophomore, was named all-Golden West League…junior and senior years received the Coach’s Award… during her senior season earned the first spot on the first Cross Country Hall Of Fame team…named Women's Athlete of the Year, received the Loyalty and Team Captain Awards… received Academic Achievement Southern Section California Interscholastic Federation as a sophomore.

PERSONAL

From Westminster, Calif...son of Gabriel Huerta and Emma Garcia…as one brother, Ernie…major is kinesiology with the goal of entering a career in physical therapy…chose Fullerton  because it seemed like a great fir…cross country/track and field coach Enrique Najera was the biggest influence on her career with dedication toward the team and motivating every individual to become the best that they can be…enjoys reading…favorites include: Carbon Canyon Park, Newport Beach, Central Park, Fairvew Park (places to run), Steve Prefontaine (athlete), McFarland USA, Furious 7, Without Limits, 4 Minute Mile (movies), Lupe Fiasco and Guy Sebastian, Fall Out Boy (musical artists)…Under the Never Sky series, Uninvited series, Imdalind series, Revenants series (books), Will Smith (actor), pizza and Mexican food).
