Riverside, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton men's and women's track and field completed UC Riverside's Spring Classic on Saturday.
Shelby Noble cleared 11-9.75 (3.60m) in the women's pole vault to take third place overall while Ernesto Collazo finished in second on the men's side at 14-7.25 (4.45m).
Connor Anderson just missed a personal best in the men's discus with a toss of 157-0 (47.87m) to take fourth place while Adam Leiva finished in sixth at 148-4 (45.22m). Patrick Ng and Tanner Miller went 3-4 in the men's shot put with respective marks of 53-1 (16.18m, a PR) and 51-9.25 (15.78m).
Tammy Vien led the Titans in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.81 (-0.2 wind). Alayah Byers clocked a 100-meter dash time of 12.28 (+0.4 wind) to take sixth place and ran the 200 meters in 25.62 (-2.0 wind).
Chris Shiley was the top finisher for Fullerton in the men's 100 meters at a personal-best time of 11.15 (0.0 wind), good for seventh place. He also ran the 200m in 22.27. Josh Hill clocked a 400-meter hurdles time of 55.60, a personal best that was good for a fifth-place finish.
Blake Rose took eighth place in the decathlon over the course of Friday and Saturday with a score of 5,994 points while Matt Cohen tallied 5,424 points in 10th place.
The Titans host the Titan Team Challenge on Saturday with field events beginning at 9:30 a.m. and track events starting at noon.
