Titans Travel to Sana Barbara for Spring Tourney

Fullerton, Calif. - The 2005 Cal State Fullerton women's volleyball team will travel this weekend to participate in UC Santa Barbara's annual Spring Tournament at the Thunderdome in Santa Barbara, Calif. starting April 9.

Seven teams will play four matches each, consisting of two games to 30 points in rally-scoring format. There will be no official scoring at this event, and no tournament championship will be awarded.

There will be two matches running simultaneously on the Thunderdome floor, with a third court being used as the serve and warm-up court.

Admission to the tournament is free and all games should be finished by approximately 4:30 pm. each day

The Santa Barbara tounament is the first of four informal competitions scheduled for the Titans this Spring. Following UCSB, Fullerton will travel to Bakersfield (Apr. 16), LMU (Apr. 23), and UC Irvine (Apr. 30) in preparation for the upcoming season.

The Cal State Fullerton women will open up the regular season September 2 and 3 by hosting UTEP, UMKC and Marist in the annual Titan Classic held At Titan Gym. For Tickets contact the CSF Athletic Ticket Office at (714) 278-CSUF.UCSB
