Titans Earn 17th Win, 3-0 Victory over UCR

Riverside, Calif. - Behind 10 kills by both Amanda Pfielschiefter and Breanna Trudeau, Cal State Fullerton defeated UC Riverside, 30-20, 30-17, 30-25, in their final Big West Conference match of the season Friday night at the Student Recreational Center.
The Titans wrap up their league schedule with a 6-8 record, tying the school record for the most conference wins in a season. The win also gave the Titans their 17th win of the season, a plateau that has only been reached one other time in Fullerton volleyball history. The Titans improve to 17-11. UC Riverside falls to 2-24 overall and finish winless in conference at 0-14.

Cal State Fullerton has one remaining game with the University of San Diego on the road next Tuesday. The Titans will wrap up the 2006 campaign at the Jenny Craig Center on the campus of USD at 7 p.m.
NOTES: With the three game sweep of the Highlanders, Cal State Fullerton swept six straight games against an opponent for the first time since 1996 when Fullerton took six-straight from UC Irvine...Fullerton insured its best-ever winning percentage in a season with the victory.
