Tennis Seniors Le and Tran Earn All-Big West Conference Honors

Le Makes Second-Team Singles, Teams With Tran for Second-Team Doubles Honors

FULLERTON, CA - Cal State Fullerton senior tennis players Gina Le and Mai-Ly Tran were each named to the All-Big West Conference teams for 2007 the league office announced.

Le earned her second straight berth onto the all-conference second team and her third all-league honor in her four-year Titans career. The senior from Mission Viejo finished the season with a team-best 15-12 mark in singles play, including a 3-4 mark against Big West opponents and a team-high 11 wins in dual match play.

She teamed with Tran to earn second-team honors in doubles play as the duo combined to post a 10-10 record as Fullerton's No. 1 doubles tandem, including a 3-3 mark against conference opponents and a 9-9 record in dual match play.

They closed out the season by winning their final five consecutive matches together.
