Indian Wells - UC Riverside won the doubles point and then captured four singles matches in straight sets before the contest was stopped for a 5-0 victory over Cal State Fullerton in the play-in round of the Big West Conference Women's Tennis Tournament Thursday in Indian Wells.

The No. 8-seeded Highlanders advanced to play No. 1-seeded Long Beach State today while the No. 9-seeded Titans saw their season end at 3-19.

Jerusha Cruz and Brandy Andrews teamed up to win the No. 2 doubles match over Angelique Corpuz and Roxanne Plata, 8-4, but that was the only win of the day for Fullerton.
