Titans Lose to Rams, 5-2

Fullerton, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton won the top two singles matches and No. 1 doubles but Colorado State exhibited better depth Friday afternoon to capture a non-conference women's tennis match over the Titans, 5-2.

Tiffany Mai continued her winning ways for Fullerton (3-14), beating Caitlin Fluegge in the featured singles match (6-2, 3-6, 6-4) and teamed with Monica Rodriguez to beat Fluegge and Tori Arneson in doubles, 8-4. Rodriguez also won her No. 2 singles match but the Rams (5-5) won Nos. 3-6 singles and No. 2 and 3 doubles for the win.

Fullerton next competes on Monday afternoon, hosting New Mexico State.
