LONG BEACH, CA - The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team suffered its fourth consecutive defeat on Friday afternoon, falling to No. 38 Long Beach State by a 7-0 count in the Big West Conference opener for both teams at the El Dorado Tennis Courts.

The 49ers (2-2) swept all three doubles matches and won all six singles matches in straight sets en route to the win over the Titans, who fell to 1-4 overall on the season.

Cal State Fullerton opens a stretch of 12 consecutive matches at home next week, hosting three consecutive Big West opponents at the Titan Courts beginning with Cal State Northridge on Wednesday (Feb. 6) at 2 p.m.
