CAL STATE FULLERTON

JUNIOR (2007-08): Posted a 6-21 overall record in singles play and a 5-17 mark in dual matches... spent most of the season playing at one of the top two positions, going 1-7 at the No. 1 spot and 3-7 at No. 2 singles... won three straight matches at one point in mid-March over opponents from Westmont College, Akron, and Amherst... was 4-18 overall at No. 1 doubles with three different partners... competed mainly with teammate Karina Akhmedova at the top spot, posting a 3-11 mark.

SOPHOMORE (2006-07): Posted a 6-17 overall record in singles play, including a 5-14 mark in dual matches... appeared in 15 matches at the No. 4 spot in the lineup, posting a 3-12 record... went 7-12 overall with teammate Cheyenne Inglis, including a 7-7 mark at the No. 2 spot... won five straight matches at one point in late March/early April.

FRESHMAN (2005-06): Was solid at the bottom part of the singles lineup for the Titans, posting a 9-17 overall record and an 8-14 mark in dual matches despite being nagged by injuries all season... competed mostly at the No. 5 position where she was 8-9... also played at the No. 4 (0-4) and No. 6 positions (0-1)... won four of her final seven singles matches... In doubles play, teamed with three different partners to compile a combined 2-20 overall record playing a large part of the time at the No. 2 doubles position.

PERSONAL

Shelly comes to Cal State Fullerton after playing nine years of SCTA junior tennis and four years of Pasadena High School tennis. She was ranked as high as No. 39 while playing in the 16-and-under division. An admitted sports junkie, Shelly is majoring in business administration.
