Cal State Fullerton Softball Garners Votes in Final National Rankings

FULLERTON, CA -- - The Cal State Fullerton softball team garnered votes from the nation's coaches according to the final polls released by USA Softball and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

The Titans were one of 12 schools receiving votes in the final ESPN.com/USA Softball coaches poll and were among 18 schools to receive votes in the final USA Today/NFCA poll.

Fullerton finished its season with a 30-21 overall record, advancing to the championship game at eventual national runner-up UCLA and earned a postseason berth for the 23rd time in 26 seasons. The Titans finished third in the Big West Conference with a 14-7 mark behind champion Long Beach State and second-place Cal Poly.
