Softball Adjusts Fall Schedule

FULLERTON, Calif. -- Cal State Fullerton will feature eight home softball events for the fall season which will allow new Head Coach Kelly Ford to have a full day of practice with her team, beginning on October 22.

"We decided to push things back one week, which adjusts some of our competitions as follows and lets me adjust to using a new phone system," Coach Ford chuckled.

The schedule for competitions is as follows:

Friday, Oct. 26 vs. Mt. SAC at 3 p.m.

*Saturday, Nov. 3 vs. Fullerton Community College at Noon

*Saturday, Nov. 3 vs. Azusa Pacific University at 2 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 7 vs. Riverside Community College at 2:30 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 8 vs. Cerritos College at 3 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 9 vs. College of the Canyon at 4 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 9 vs. Concordia at 6:30 p.m.

*The Nov. 3 date is a mini round robin with APU / FCC slated to play at 10 a.m.

Coach Ford will now have her first official practice of the off season on Monday afternoon, Oct. 22, which allows her to have a full week of administrative time in her new office as the coach officially starts with the university on Oct. 15.

All contests are open with no admission to the public.
