SANTIAGO HIGH SCHOOL
Played four seasons at shortstop for the Sharks, earning All-Big 8 League honors as a junior and senior... hit .611 as a junior while posting a nearly perfect .998 fielding percentage en route to first-team all-league honors... helped Santiago HS to a CIF title as a senior, earning second-team all-league laurels while batting .400 with a .980 fielding percentage... also played one season of soccer, volleyball, and basketball.
