Trip to Northern California Kicks-Off in Stockton

FULLERTON, CA - Following a split of its Big West Conference openers at home this past weekend, the Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team (6-6-1, 1-1 in the Big West) heads to Northern California for a pair of crucial conference contests. The Titans open the weekend on Friday (Oct. 10) against Pacific at 7 p.m. before heading to UC Davis on Sunday (Oct. 12) for a 12 p.m. kickoff.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS: Pacific enters the weekend with a 6-5 overall record and a 1-1 record in conference play after splitting its openers against UC Irvine (W, 1-0) and Long Beach State (L, 2-1)... Freshman Kristina Wavomba is the engine that runs the Tigers' offense, scoring five goals and leading the team with 10 points... five other players have scored goals, but only one with multiple goals (Angelica Figueroa with two)... Amanda McNab has started all 11 matches in net, posting a 1.09 goals against average and 40 saves to go with four shutouts on the year.
VERSUS PACIFIC: Cal State Fullerton has dominated the series with the Tigers, leading the all-time series by an 11-4 count and riding an eight-match winning streak... The Titans, however, are only 4-3 against Pacific in Stockton, but have won the last three dating back to the 2002 season... in one of the more closely contested series, nine of the 15 matches between the two have been decided by a single goal.
SCOUTING THE AGGIES: UC Davis enters the weekend with a 5-4-2 overall record and an 0-2 mark in Big West play after dropping a pair of 1-0 decisions to Long Beach State and UC Irvine... The Aggies will take on UC Riverside on Friday before hosting the Titans... Rochelle VanBuskirk leads the team in scoring with three goals and seven points while Samantha Faber has also found the back of the net three times... Sarah Peters has started all 11 matches in net for the Aggies, posting a 1.12 goals against average and 37 saves to go with a pair of shutouts.
VERSUS UC DAVIS: Cal State Fullerton is a perfect 4-0 against the Aggies in the all-time series, including a 3-0 record in Davis... The Titans have outscored UC Davis, 10-3, in the series, including posting shutouts in each of their last two victories over the Aggies.
