FULLERTON, CA - Off to a good start in conference play after grinding out a 1-0 double overtime win over UC Riverside on Sunday night, the Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team (5-5-1, 1-0) takes a seven-match Big West Conference winning streak on the road this weekend. The Titans head to Stockton, Calif., for a Friday night battle under the lights against Pacific at 7 p.m. Fullerton then returns to Southern California for a Sunday afternoon match-up at Cal State Northridge at 2:30 p.m.

Cal State Fullerton leads the all-time series 9-4 against Pacific and 8-1 against Cal State Northridge... The Titans also enjoy significant winning streaks against both schools, winning the last six against the Tigers and five straight against the Matadors... Fullerton swept the schools last season at Titan Stadium, downing Pacific 1-0 and Cal State Northridge, 2-0... The Titans are 3-3 all-time at Pacific (6-1 at home) and 3-1 at Northridge (5-0 at home)... Cal State Fullerton's last wins on the road against both schools came in 2004: 3-1 in Stockton on Oct. 15 and 3-2 in overtime in Northridge on Oct. 17.
Cal State Fullerton is ranked regionally in a pair of polls, standing in a tie for No. 10 in the NSCAA coaches poll and receiving votes in the Soccer Buzz poll... Pacific is ranked No. 12 in the west region according to Soccer Buzz... Cal State Northridge is unranked.
Pacific sports one of the best records in the Big West at 8-2-1 overall, but lost its conference opener, 2-0, at Long Beach State on Friday... Mandi Van Dorn paces the Tigers' offense, scoring five goals and assisting on two others for a team-best 12 points... three other players have scored multiple goals and Pacific has outscored the opposition, 16-7 this season... Jaime Souza has been one of the top keepers in the league this season with a 0.61 goals against average and six shutouts in 11 starts... Pacific has faced two nationally-ranked squads: Downing No. 23 Fresno State and falling to No. 19 BYU.
SCOUTING CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE
Cal State Northridge is 7-5 overall this season and 1-1 in league play after splitting its league openers against UC Irvine (5-0 win) and Long Beach State (3-2 loss)... Kristal Phillips and Tessa Binkley lead the team in scoring with 13 points while Phillips has netted a team-best five goals... 13 different players have found the back of the net for Northridge as the Matadors have outscored the opposition by a 24-15 count... Kellie Drenner (7 matches) and April Cline (9 matches) have split time in net with Drenner leading the way (1.18 GAA, 24 saves).
TITANS PICKED SECOND IN BIG WEST TITLE RACE
The Cal State Fullerton women's soccer team received two first-place votes (48 points overall) and was picked to finish second in the Big West Conference in 2006 according to a poll of the league's coaches. Long Beach State received three first-place votes and 56 points overall to finish atop the preseason poll for the first time in school history. UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly, Pacific, UC Riverside, Cal State Northridge, and UC Irvine round out the poll in that order.
