Bardsley, Wilson Honored as WPSL Season Enters Final Four

FULLERTON, CA - Former Cal State Fullerton women's soccer players Karen Bardsley and Kandace Wilson were each named to the All-Women's Premier Soccer League's First Team while Bardsley was named the Western Conference's Goalkeeper of the Year the league announced on Thursday afternoon.

The duo helped lead their Ajax America squad to an unbeaten 14-0 record and a second-straight Western Conference championship. Ajax America will face off against F.C. Indiana in the first National Semifinal match on Saturday (July 28) at 6:30 p.m. at Pepin-Rood Stadium in Tampa, Fla.

The winner of the Ajax America-F.C. Indiana match-up will meet the winner of the Tampa Bay Elite-New England Mutiny in the championship match on Sunday (July 29) at 1 p.m.

The WPSL is a 38-team national women's soccer league with five conferences and is the highest level of women's soccer in the United States while also holding the distinction of being one of the top leagues in the world. The mission is to provide the highest level of women's soccer while simultaneously providing affordable, quality family entertainment and positive role models for our youth.
