Women's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

FULLERTON, CA - Cal State Fullerton Head Coach Demian Brown and the Titans' women's soccer team has announced a slate of seven scheduled contests and an appearance at another tournament to round out its 2008 spring schedule.

Fullerton opens the spring on Feb. 24 at the University of San Diego, battling the host Toreros and Big West rival UC Riverside.

From there, the Titans will host Azusa Pacific, Cal State San Bernardino, and UCR at Titan Stadium in a round-robin day of action on March 8 and will host Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 27 in a single match at Titan Stadium.

Cal State Fullerton will also compete at the Toyota College Showcase in Temecula, Calif., on April 5, and returns home to host Loyola Marymount, Cal State Dominguez Hills, and San Diego State on April 12.

The Titans are coming off a 12-8-2 season in 2007 that saw them claim their fourth Big West Conference regular season title since 2001 and their third consecutive Big West Tournament crown. Fullerton advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season where they were eliminated by top-ranked UCLA, 3-1.
