Joshua Davis

Player Profile

Position:
Volunteer Assistant Coach (1st Season)

Joshua Davis joins the Cal State Fullerton coaching staff as a volunteer coach for the 2008 season.

Davis joins the Titans following a successful stint as both an assistant and head coach with the Apple Valley Soccer Club for the better part of the last five years.

He spent three years as an assistant with the AVSC '88 girls squad, helping the team to the 2005 State Championship, and was the head coach of the AVSC '89 boys team for a year-and-a-half, leading the team to the Premier League finals.

As a player, Davis prepped at Apple Valley HS, earning three varsity letters and helping the Sun Devils to three straight Mojave River League titles - including undefeated campaigns as a freshman and sophomore.

He twice earned all-league honorable mention honors as a sophomore and senior, the latter coming after an ACL tear that cut short his junior year.

Davis continued his playing career at Victor Valley College, twice earning all-conference honorable mention honors and helping the Rams to the Foothill Conference title and the second round of the state championships as a freshman. He earned a scholarship to Hope International University in Fullerton, playing one season for the Royals

Davis earned his "E" license in 2006 and is currently working toward his "D" license and National Diploma. He resides in Fullerton with his wife, Ali, and their son, Cole.

Davis is currently pursuing his degree in kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton and is scheduled to graduate in December.
