FULLERTON, Calif. – As rain poured down on Titan Stadium on Sunday evening, Atlanta Primus managed to score in the 63rd minute with the assist from Kaycee Hoover to put the Titans up 1-0.  Fullerton would unfortunately lose its first game in the 103rd minute of the season to No. 17 Utah in double overtime by a score of 2-1.

"This is a game that is hard to swallow," said head coach Demian Brown. "When you play a really good team like Utah, and you do not score when you should, it leaves you to lose like we did."

The conditions on the field were rough as the Titans tried viciously to regain their momentum as the rain poured down harder. Paola Van der Veen of Utah would tie the game in the 69th minute, then go on to close out the game with her golden goal in the 103rd minute.

The Titans managed to record 12 shots for the night.  Once again, Fullerton would out corner their opponent 9-5.

Primus tallied her fourth goal of the season with shots on goal percentage of .750.

Morgan Bertsch recorded 3 saves, and played all 102 minutes of tonight's game. Samantha Koemans led the Titans with four shots during the match.

The Titans look forward to redeeming themselves against Iowa State on Friday at 5:00 p.m. PT at Titan Stadium. The match will be a double header with men's soccer who plays after the conclusion of the women's game.
