FULLERTON, CA - Cal State Fullerton head women's gymnastics coach Jill Hicks has announced that Cami Casimere, Megan Farris, and Leah Housman, have signed National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic and academic careers at Cal State Fullerton beginning with the 2009-10 season.

"We have a talented group of freshmen coming in this fall, but the great part about these student-athletes is that they can all compete in the all around," Hicks said. "They are hungry and not burned out and will add a lot of depth to our team. All of our newcomers have the ability to compete right away."

The group joins previously announced signee Alicia Meyer, who signed a National Letter of Intent with the Titans last November.

Casimere, a native of San Jose, is a Level 10 gymnast who competed for Airborne Gymnastics in Northern California. She was the state beam and floor champion in 2009 while also finishing third on vault and fourth in the all-around.

Arcadia native Housman joins the Titans after competing for Charter Oak Gymnastics where she finished third on beam, fifth on floor, and sixth in the all-around at the 2008 Western Nationals.

Farris becomes the first Titan gymnast to hail from outside the United States since Australia's Joanna Hughes competed for Cal Sate Fullerton from 2000-02. A native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Farris was a National Open Level Gymnast from the Calgary Gymnastic Centre and is the fifth Canadian to compete with the Titans.
