Results

FULLERTON, CA - Cal State Fullerton senior Nicole Lim tied a career-high with a 9.875 to finish in a tie for third on beam, but No. 9 Oregon State scored 49 points or better on all four apparatus as a team to lift the Beavers to a 197.100-192.700 victory over the visiting Titans on Friday night in Corvallis, Ore.

Fullerton finishes the regular season 8-7 overall heading into next weekend's Western Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Southern Utah in Cedar City on March 31.

The 192.700 marked the third consecutive meet that the Titans have scored better than 192.000 as they reached that plateau for the fourth time this season.

Lim, whose previous season high on beam was 9.825, was joined by fellow senior Brittany Evans, who also had a solid night on beam with a season-high 9.80 to finish seventh.

Freshman Shannon Kawada finished fifth on vault with a 9.775 - her sixth score of 9.70 or better in the event in the last seven meets. Freshman Kori Underhill was sixth on floor with a 9.775 while senior Erica Ficarrotta, who finished fourth in the all-around with a 38.250, finished seventh on bars with a 9.70 to lead the Titans.

Individually, Oregon State had six scores of 9.90 or better, including three by all-around winner Jami Lanz, who scored 39.625 on the night to lead a Beavers sweep. She was followed by teammates Tasha Smith, who finished second with a 39.500, and Mandi Rodriguez, who was third with a 39.450.

Lanz won bars, beam and floor while finishing tied for second on vault.

OSU counted only two individual scores lower than a 9.80 en route to the win. The Beavers led by two points after two rotations and turned on the afterburners to close out the meet, scoring a 49.375 on beam and a 49.350 on floor to end the night.
