BOISE, ID - The Cal State Fullerton women's gymnastics team set a season high as a team with a 189.125 and senior Alaina Baker finished second overall in the individual all-around as the Titans finished second to host Boise State on Friday night in a Western Athletic Conference dual meet in Boise, ID.

Fullerton's score was three points better than its season-opening 186.125 against UC Davis at Titan Gym on Jan. 21, but not enough to top the Broncos, who won every event en route to a 196.175.

Baker set a season-high in the all-around, posting a 38.850 on the night to finish second behind Boise State's Amy Glass, who scored a 39.400. Baker, one of two Titan all-arounders on the night, finished almost two-tenths better than the 38.775 she scored in Fullerton's season opener. Fellow senior Shelly Cooper was third in the all-around with a 38.025.

The Broncos swept the top three spots on all four events with Baker's 9.80 on floor tying for third place keeping Boise State from a clean sweep. Baker also finished fifth on beam with a 9.70 - just .025 off her career best in the event.

Cooper also had a solid night on two events, finishing tied for fourth on vault with a 9.75 and tied for sixth on bars with a 9.65.

Fullerton's best events came on vault and floor, scoring season high's of 48.025 and 48.100, respectively, but struggled in the other two rotations, having to count falls on both bars and beam.

The Titans begin a stretch of three-straight home dual meets next Friday (Feb. 11) at 7 p.m. as they host defending Western Athletic Conference champion Southern Utah at Titan Gym.
