CAL STATE FULLERTON
SOPHOMORE (2008): Competed vault, bars, and floor for the Titans... named to the Western Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches Academic Honor Roll for the second time... averaged a 9.406 on vault for the season, scoring a season-high 9.825 in a quad meet at Southern Utah... competed bars in 11 of the team's 12 meets, averaging a 9.223 with a season high of 9.725 against Oregon State on Feb. 29... competed floor in seven meets, averaging a 9.596... scored a season-high 9.750 in the third meet of the year in a quad meet with UCLA, Brown, and Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

FRESHMAN (2007): Competed vault, bars, and floor exercise for the Titans as a freshman... vaulted in 10 of the 11 meets, averaging a 9.608 for the season - good for third on the team... scored a team-best 9.85 in a quad meet at UCLA on Feb. 25 to finish in a tie for fifth... scored better than a 9.80 on the apparatus in four meets... scored six top-five finishes on vault... won vault with a 9.80 against Alaska Anchorage on Feb. 18 and a 9.825 against Arizona State on March 11... a regular in the bars rotation, leading all Titans with a 9.593 average... scored a career-high 9.80 in the season finale at the Western Athletic Conference Championships to finish in a tie for fourth and earn all-conference honors... competed in nine of the 11 meets on floor, averaging a 9.297... notched a career high with a 9.825 on March 11 vs. Arizona State to help the Titans to a season-high 49.075 as a team on floor... team's Most Inspirational and Most Improved award-winner at postseasn banquet... named an Academic All-American by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches.

Born July 18, 1988... mom is Jean Saito... has a sister, Sharlene... intends to major in child and adolescent development... also considered Sacramento State, Colorado State, and Long Beach State before selecting Cal State Fullerton... named the North HS Student of the Month... twice a winner of the Sammy Saxon Award as a junior and senior... named to the honor roll.
