CAL STATE FULLERTON
JUNIOR (2006): Competed bars ini all 11 meets for the Titans while also competing on floor exercise in 10 of the 11 meets... posted a season average do 9.516 on bars to finish fifth... set a career high on floor with a 9.675 in a dual meet against California... scored a season-best 9.65 on bars at the Western Athletic Conference Championships.

SOPHOMORE (2005): Competed in the final six competitions of the season - all on bars... scored a season-high 9.675 in a quad home meet with San Jose State, Bowling Green State, and SUNY Cortland (Mar. 6) and matched it two weeks later at Sacramento State (Mar. 18).

FRESHMAN (2004): Competed in all 11 meets for the Titans' depleted bars lineup... scored a career-high 9.775 on the apparatus against Sacramento State (2/8)... scored better than 9.70 on bars five times in her last eight meets... averaged 9.629 on bars for the season... finished tied for 11th on bars at the conference championships (3/19).

CLUB CAREER
A four-time Level 10 Junior Olympic National Qualifier... placed tied for fifth on the floor in 2003 and finished ninth in the all-around in 2000... was the floor exercise champion at the 2000 Region 2 Championships... won the vault and all-around titles at the Hawaii State Championships in 2000 and 2003 • also won state titles on the beam (2002) and floor exercise (2000).

PERSONAL
Born Feb. 25, 1985, in Honolulu, Hawaii... parents are Blackie Higashi and Gail Izumi... kinesiology major at Cal State Fullerton with thoughts of going into physical therapy after graduation.
