FULLERTON, CA - The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball program will host its inaugural Tip-Off Party and fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Golleher Alumni House on campus following the Titans' exhibition game against Point Loma Nazarene which tips-off at 2 p.m.
The event, which will feature dinner with Titan players and coaches, is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. and is \$30 for adults and \$15 for students and children under 12. Entertainment will be courtesy of "The Naked Eye," a local band featuring Cal State Fullerton kinesiology professor Michele Barr as well as a silent auction and raffle.
Dinner with the coaching staff as well as a trip with the team to its game against Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo on Feb. 24 are among the prizes up for auction with all proceeds going to benefit the women's basketball program.
Cal State Fullerton, which returns nine letter winners and four starters off of last year's team, officially opens the 2010-11 regular season on the road on Nov. 12 at Eastern Washington before taking on Seattle on Nov. 14.
