Assistant Coach Sara Perry returns to the sidelines as a full-time assistant coach for her third season under Head Coach Dr. Maryalyce Jeremiah in 2008-09.

"Sara has shown that her love of the game and her willingness to do whatever it takes to make us successful can be a significant ingredient to the success of the program," Dr. Jeremiah said. "Coach Perry's experience in dealing with many of the administrative details along with her ability to help with our guard play, will prove to be a positive asset to the Titans."

She graduated from nearby Valencia High School in Placentia, Calif., in 1999 and from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, Calif., with a degree in business in 2003.

While at Notre Dame de Namur, Perry was a four-year starter for the Argonauts' women's basketball team, averaging 10 points and two assists per game over her career and earning a pair of all-conference awards in 2000 and 2001.

Perry played two prep seasons at Canyon HS in Anaheim Hills before transferring and finishing her career at Valencia HS in Placentia where she graduated in 1999, earning two all-league honors for the Tigers as a junior and senior.

Perry and her husband, Dan, were married in September, 2006, and currently reside in Fullerton. The couple welcomed their first child, Owen, in March.

Perry is currently pursuing her master's degree in kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton with an emphasis in sports enhancement and performance.
