Teddy Astorga (ah-STOHR-guh) returns for his fourth season with the Titans as the established starter at 141 pounds... was 20-13 last season including 6-2 in Pac-10 duals... third on the squad (behind Ian Murphy and Wade Sauer) in bonus points with 13 (5 majors, 3 near falls, 4 pins, 1 forfeit)... finished fifth at Pac-10 championships... placed second at Fullerton Open... in 2006-07 he split time as starter and posted a 9-5 record with 5 major decisions and one pin... was 6-3 in duals, 3-1 in the Pac-10... in 2005-06 he was 8-14... Teddy redshirted in 2004-05 but posted a 5-2 record in tournaments competing unattached (1-2 vs. CSF teammates)... wrestled for four years at Perris High School for Coach Mario Moreno... three-time league champion and two-time CIF champion... had a high school career record of 157-47... as a senior placed fourth in the state after winning league, CIF and the masters... as a sophomore was league and CIF champion...
