Irvine, Calif. - Junior defender Matt Sanders (Orange, CA / Villa Park HS) is the lone Cal State Fullerton representative on the 2008 All-Big West Conference men's soccer teams selected by the seven head coaches and announced today.

Sanders started all 18 matches in which he appeared during Fullerton's 5-14-1 season. Sophomore forward Celso Alvarez (Los Angeles, CA / Rio Hondo JC), who led the team with five goals, earned honorable mention.

UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis and Cal Poly all gained NCAA tournament berths and dominated the all-conference teams and individual honors.
