Irvine, Calif. - Sophomore Shay Spitz (Sydney, Australia - Orange Coast JC) has been selected the men's soccer player of the week by the Big West Conference.

Spitz scored the first three goals of his career last week to help the Titans to a 2-2 at UC Riverside and a 2-1 win at UC Davis. He has taken over the team scoring lead with 7 points.

Fullerton (5-7-2, 1-4-2) is back in action Wednesday afternoon at Cal State Northridge (4-3-5, 0-1-3), which will be minus Coach Terry Davila and three players due to red cards in last weekend's fight-marred match at Maryland.
