Critical Home Matches for Men's Soccer

Oct. 9, 2007

Fullerton, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton plays two home men's soccer matches this week and needs points to remain a factor in the Big West Conference championship race. The Titans host UC Riverside on Wedneday night at 7 p.m. and UC Irvine Saturday night at 7 p.m.

Each of the three squads has managed only a single point in the first two weeks of the conference schedule. Both UCR and UCI are 0-1-1 while the Titans are 0-2-1 after a tie with Cal State Northridge and a loss at UC Santa Barbara last week. UCR is 3-3-3 overall while the Anteaters will take a 5-2-3 mark into a Wednesday night match against Cal Poly. Fullerton is 4-5-1.
