Titans Host Matadors to Open Big Week

Fullerton, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton faces the cream of the crop in Big West Conference men's soccer this week with a home match Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Cal State Northridge and a road trip Saturday night to challenge UC Santa Barbara's defending national champions. The Titans are 4-4-0 overall and 0-1-0 in the Big West after an opening 1-0 home loss to Cal Poly SLO. The Matadors are playing their Big West opener on the heels of a 3-0 win over UCLA, their first ever over the Bruins, which lifted them to 4-2-1. UCSB is 1-0 in the Big West after a 4-0 win over UC Davis and 4-2-2 overall. Northridge and Fullerton have played three common opponents in Detroit, Michigan and Memphis with CSUN coming out 1-1-1 while the Titans were 2-1, losing only to Michigan.
