Men's Soccer to Stage Alumni Match on Aug. 25

Fullerton, Calif. - The 2007 edition of Cal State Fullerton men's soccer will get its first taste of competition on Saturday, Aug. 25, when the Titans host their annual alumni scrimmage.
The "match" will consist of four 30-minute periods, each featuring alums from a different era of Titan soccer against the varsity team. The opening group will consist of players from the 1980s or before, the second group will be for players in the 1990s, the third group from the 2000s and the final group will be an "all-star" assemblage of the most skilled -- and best conditioned -- from the first three groups.
The match gets underway at 4 p.m. in Titan Stadium. There will be no admission charge.
Alumni who would like to participate are directed to their respective "era" coaches as follows:
prior to 1990 - Bobby Fox: firstname.lastname@example.org;

Second-year Head Coach Bob Ammann, who played for the Titans in 1983-86, and his team will open the regular season on Aug. 31 at home vs. Long Island University.
