CSF: John Meza took a redshirt season with the Titans in 2008... He is a versatile multi-sport athlete who is listed as a midfielder but could play several soccer positions... Outstanding scholar-athlete who was a 4-year member of the National Honor Society.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-time All-Ivy League performer during his varsity career at Arlington High School of Riverside, California... First-team as a junior and senior and second-team as a freshman and sophomore... As a senior also was first-team All-Riverside County and first-team All-CIF for Coach Edson Garfias... Team advanced to the CIF semifinals and state tournament... As a junior was second-team All-CIF... Team co-captain as a senior... Played in the Riverside vs. San Bernardino, Div. I vs. Div. II and East vs. West All-Star Games... Made the all-league academic team and was a scholar-athlete... Also played two years of football as a kicker and was most valuable player of the water polo team as a sophomore.
