Titans Move Up to 11th

Fresno, Calif. - Mark Anguiano shot a 4-over 76 on a cool and windy Tuesday to lead Cal State Fullerton to an 11th-place showing in the 16-team Lexus Classic men's golf tournament hosted by Fresno State at the Fort Washington Country Club.

Scores soared compared to the first 36 holes played Monday in more pleasing weather. Oregon State maintained its team lead but went from 13 under to a 7-over 1087 to beat Washington State's 1093 by 6 strokes. Fullerton's score was (370-366-390) 1,126 or 46 over par. The Titans beat host Fresno State (12th place, 1130) by 4 strokes.

Anguiano finished at 219 (3 over) for the tourney. Corey Gard came in at 222 followed by John San Juan at 226, Dakota Duerr at 230, Ryan Tetrault at 233 and Scott Rubzinn at 238.
