Titans Head to Palm Springs For Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate
PALM DESERT, Calif. --- Cal State Fullerton heads to Palm Desert to participate in the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Wyoming beginning Friday.
THE COURSE: The three-day event will take place at The Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif. The course will play at par-72 and teams will tee off from the back tees, which will put the course at 7,322 yards.
THE FIELD: Along with the Titans and host Cowboys, the tournament will feature a total of 22 teams including Oregon, Kansas, Texas Tech, CSUN, Denver, Arkansas-Little Rock, UNC Wilmington, UC Riverside, South Dakota State, Old Dominion, Fresno State, TCU, Colorado, Gonzaga, UT Arlington, Nebraska, Loyola Marymount, Oral Roberts, Stephen F. Austin and Southern Utah.

LAST TIME OUT: Cal State Fullerton placed seventh overall in the team standings and had four golfers finish in the top-20 at the Folino Invitational to open the spring season. Jack Ireland led the way for the Titans, posting a 4-over 220 to finish tied for seventh place overall, the best finish of his career. Martin Manalo (+5, t10th), Mark Cobey and Michael Sharkey (+8, t19th).
