Titans Back on Local Radio for Hoops, Baseball

Anaheim, Calif. - Anaheim-based radio station KSPA will air 30 Cal State Fullerton athletic events -- nine men's basketball games and 21 baseball games -- live on 1510 AM in conjunction with Alderson Broadcasting during the 2005-06 academic year.

"We're excited to be back on radio," said Titans' Athletics Director Brian Quinn. "It's another step in trying to best serve our loyal fans."

Justin Alderson, a 1998 CSF graduate who has been the voice of the Titans on internet broadcasts and as a public address announcer, will be the play-by-play announcer. The basketball schedule will feature all seven road Big West Conference games plus non-conference contests at UC Davis and San Jose State, the latter kicking off the series on Dec. 21.

The KSPA signal already covers much of Orange County and western Riverside County. An upcoming increase in transmitter power will extend the coverage.
