LAST MEETING: The Titans last faced the Golden Eagles on Nov. 11, 2007, in a game in Titan Gym that was an exhibition for CSULA but counted for the Titans (87-67 victory), who went on to win a share of the Big West Conference title and earn an NCAA berth by winning the post-season tournament. The last meeting previous to that one came in the 1977-78 season, which also culminated in an NCAA playoff trip by the Titans.

ABOUT THE GOLDEN EAGLES: This will be the second of three Div. I exhibitions for Div. II CSULA, which last week lost at UC Riverside, 86-72, and plays at UCLA on Nov. 9. Carl Hoffman led the way vs. UCR with 17 points and 11 rebounds while Chris Robinson added 14 points.

THE COACH: Bob Burton is 123-92 in his first seven seasons at Cal State Fullerton and career. He has the most victories at the Div. I level and trails only Alex Omalev (139-176 in 12 years) all-time. Burton's winning percentage of .542 trails only Bobby Dye (.583, 109-78).
