Fullerton, Calif. - Guard Orlando Brown from Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma, has signed a national letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Cal State Fullerton.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound junior-to-be averaged 12 points last year for the Cowboys, who advanced to the NJCAA tournament in each of his two seasons under veteran Coach Bill Muse. They finished in fourth place his freshman season with a 28-9 record but went 0-2 this year after a 30-2 regular season that earned them a No. 4 national ranking. As a freshman, Brown was selected to the Region II all-tournament team and the Cowboys won a pair of Bi-State East Conference titles.

"Orlando is a versatile guard, a very good all-around player," said Associate Head Coach Andy Newman. "He can shoot it and he makes great decisions. He has a high basketball IQ. He makes plays for other people and will be a great addition to our team."

Brown is from Stringtown, in southeastern Oklahoma. He is no relation to recent Fullerton players Jamaal Brown or Bobby Brown, each of whom earned All-Big West Conference recognition.
