Eastern Washington to Visit CSF for Bracket Buster

Fullerton, Calif. - Eastern Washington will visit Titan Gym as part of the ESPN Bracket Buster men's basketball schedule on Saturday, Feb. 18, it was announced this morning by ESPN in conjunction with the commissioners of six conferences. Tip-off time will be 2:05 p.m. and the Titans will return the game to Cheney, Washington, in November or December.
The Eagles are members of the Big Sky Conference and have a current record of 8-12 overall and 3-4 in conference. Fullerton is 10-8 and 3-5 in the Big West. EWU and CSF completed a home-and-home series the past two seasons with Fullerton getting a sweep -- 77-70 in Fullerton on Dec. 13, 2003, and 70-68 in overtime on Dec. 10, 2004, in Cheney. According to the current Sagarin ratings, Fullerton is No. 169 and EWU is No. 171.
None of the eight Big West Conference schools will be involved in any of the televised made-for-TV matchups of mid-major programs. The other Big West schedule: Cal Poly at Saint Mary's, UC Santa Barbara at San Jose State, Cal State Northridge at Boise State and Long Beach State at Manhattan with UC Irvine hosting Drake, Pacific hosting New Mexico State and UC Riverside hosting Southeast Missouri State.
