Marcel Davenport enters his first season serving as the men’s basketballprogram video coordinator.
Davenport is tasked with all video aspects of the program, including live coding of practices and games, uploading game film to Synergy, coordinating film exchange with opponents, downloading all opponent film for coaches to scout as well as creating both team and individual player edits for the coaches to go over with the student-athletes.
Davenport spent the 2016-17 season as a volunteer and graduate assistantwith the Titans. He assisted in travel details, film exchange with opponents, and helped with day-to-day activities.
Prior to joining Cal State Fullerton, Davenport worked as a strength andconditioning intern as an undergraduate student at Arizona State Universityfrom August of 2014 to December of 2015.
Before working with the conditioning staff, Davenport was a student manager on the ASU men's basketball team from 2012 to 2014.
He earned his bachelor's degree in exercise and wellness in May of 2016 and is currently enrolled in the United State Sports Academy to pursue a masters degree in sports management.
