Roemer Headlines Collegiate Baseball's Preseason All-American List

Tucson, Ariz. - Reigning Collegiate Baseball Co-National Player of the Year Wes Roemer, headlines the long-time college baseball publication's list of 2007 preseason All-Americans sponsored by Louisville Slugger.

Roemer, a two-time Collegiate Baseball All-American for Cal State Fullerton is coming into 2007 with a career 20-5 record and a 2.90 ERA in 30 starts in the pinstripes.

Last season, Roemer (13-2, 2.38 ERA) wowed college baseball with his near perfect control, going the first 65 2/3 innings of the season without issuing a walk. He finished the year with 145 strikeouts and just seven walks. Barring any kind of setback, Titans' Head Coach George Horton has named Roemer the opening day starter on Feb. 2 vs. Stanford at Goodwin Field.
