Free Youth Clinic Headlines Family Fun Day

Nov. 14, 2011

Fullerton, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton baseball fans are invited out to Goodwin Field this Saturday, Nov. 19, for a Family Fun Day that will include a free youth clinic and an intrasquad scrimmage featuring the 2012 Titans.

The day will begin with a free clinic (9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.) for all youth 13-and-under. The youngsters will learn to play like the four-time national champions and be instructed by the current roster of players and coaches. They will be instructed on all aspects of the game including hitting, fielding and pitching, right on the main diamond, in the bull pens and in the batting cages.

All of the kids and their families, as well as the general public, are then welcome to come out and watch the Titans as they play in their final scrimmage of the official workout period beginning at 12:30 p.m. The Titans will be concluding their official Fall workout period that has run since Oct. 7 and included a two-game fall series sweep of the 2011 College World Series qualifying Vanderbilt Commodores.

Free 2012 Cal State Fullerton baseball schedule posters, sponsorship information, the ability to join the TAC/Diamond Club as well as ticketing information will all be on hand at the scrimmage. And as a special bonus to the day, anyone purchasing or renewing a full set of season tickets and making a \$100 donation to the TAC/Diamond Club on Nov. 19, will receive an autographed baseball signed by the 2012 Titans.

The Titans look forward to seeing you this weekend. Make plans to join them today!
