TEXAS A&M `06: Hit .276 in 41 games for the Aggies under first-year Head Coach Rob Childress in 2006 • Blasted five home runs and drove in 21 in 123 at bats for the Aggies • Listed as a catcher but shared some time as a first baseman and a designated hitter • Was perfect defensively, making no errors in 187 chances from the field.

SANTA ANA COLLEGE: Played two season for former Titan and Santa Ana College skipper Don Sneddon • Was a two-time All-Orange Empire Conference honoree (2004-2005) • Earned the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA) Big Stick Award in 2005 • Named to the Southern California All-American team by the CCCBCA (2005) when he hit .402 with 12 home runs and 14 doubles driving in 49 runs • Also named a CCCBCA All-American as a freshman in 2004 posting a .412 average with eight home runs and 56 RBI • Drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 40th round of the 2004 MLB draft.
