TITANS `08: Made seven appearances for the Titans, with his last four coming as midweek starts • in his first career start, struck out a season-high five Sun Devils in his longest outing of the year (4.1 IP) on Apr. 23 against then-No. 6 Arizona State • Struck out four over three innings of work in his collegiate debut on Feb. 29 at Stanford • Earned his first career win on May 6 against Pepperdine by allowing just one run on four hits over four innings in the Titans' 9-1 "staff day" win.

SILVERADO HS: Was a four-year letterman for Head Coach Brian Whitaker helping the Skyhawks to three league championships from 2004-2007 • Was dominant on the mound posting an impressive 18-5 career record and a 2.56 ERA in 150.2 career innings • Was just as dominant at the plate hitting a career .342 with a school record 27 home runs and 111 RBI • Was a three-time first team All-Sunrise-Southeast League player (2005-07) • Was named all-region and all-Southern Nevada twice (2006-07), and named to the all-state team his senior season • Also lettered in football (2005-07) and basketball (2004-06) and earned academic honors as a scholar athlete every semester of high school • Was drafted by the Oakland A's in the 38th round of the 2007 MLB draft.
