TEAM USA `11: Batted .317 with a home run and 10 RBI in 14 games for Team USA under Head Coach Tim Jamieson (Missouri) • The Collegiate National Team went 11-2-1 in the summer including 4-0-1 against Japan in five consecutive games in North Carolina and then in Omaha, Neb. •Lorenzen doubled and walked in three plate appearances in Omaha's TD Ameritrade Park and was the first Titan to play in the new home of the College World Series.

TITANS `11: Big West Conference Freshman of the Year and second-team All-BWC pick • Earned freshman All-American honors by Collegiate Baseball • Was named a second-team ABCA All-West Region honoree • At .3425 led team in batting (Carlos Lopez hit .3417) • Made several outstanding defensive plays • Appeared in 49 games, 40 as a starter including all of them after Mar. 12 except for the 7 games he missed (Apr. 21-May 1) with a wrist injury suffered while attempting a diving catch • In Big West play batted .373 • With 5 stolen bases in 5 attempts on last weekend of regular season (May 27-29) at Cal State Northridge he tied Ivory Thomas for team lead with 19 (in 26 attempts) but ended up second to Thomas' 20 • Also stole show on Apr. 10 vs. UC Irvine with a go-ahead 3-run triple and later made two diving catches for the ESPNU audience • Ended the game on Apr. 16 vs. UCSB by throwing out a runner trying to score the tying run from second base on a single to right field • Took a 7-game hitting streak into the final series at Cal State Northridge (16-for-27, scoring at least once in each game) • Hitless in opener but scored in all 3 games to run string to 10 games in a row, 11 after Regional opener vs. Illinois but snapped in shutout loss to Stanford • Had an on-base percentage of .535 when leading off an inning • 2-for-4 as a pinch-hitter.
