McINTOSH HS: Was a three-year letterman for Head Coach Toby Black at McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, Georgia • Was 19-9 with six saves in his three-year career on the mound and blasted 18 career home runs from the plate for the Chiefs • Hit a career-best .391 as a sophomore with four home runs and 12 RBI • Posted back-to-back 7-3 seasons from the mound and hit .351 (9 HR, 34 RBI) and .315 (5 HR, 20 RBI) at the plate his junior and senior years earning him Team Most Valuable Pitcher, first-team All-Fayette County and first-team All-Region recognition • Was also named to Team Georgia in 2005 and 2006 and the All-Southeastern Championship Series Team as a senior • Was also an all-county football player for the Chiefs lettering all four years.
