LOS ANGELES – Former Titans Justin Turner and Dylan Floro each played large parts in the Los Angeles Dodgers' 6-0 victory over the Atlanta Braves in game one of the National League Division Series, Thursday evening inside Dodger Stadium.
Turner finished 1-for-2 from the dish with a double, a run scored and two walks on the evening. Floro entered the game in the ninth inning to record the final out of the game.
Another former Fullerton great Kurt Suzuki also saw action in the contest, as he pinch hit off the bench for the Atlanta Braves.
It was that kind of night for the Dodgers, as they led from the very first offensive at bat. Joc Pederson led off the bottom of the first with a homer to center. Turner then doubled on the very first pitch he saw, shooting a liner into right field.
Turner walked on a full count in the second inning and eventually came in to score, as the next batter Max Muncy homered to put the Dodgers up 4-0.
With the game at 6-0 in favor of the Dodgers, Floro came in to replace Alex Wood and got Ozzie Albies to ground out to second to end the game.
Game two of the series will be Friday at 6:37 pm PT in Los Angeles.
