Made 11 appearances and finished the year with a 2-1 record and a 3.38 ERA…tossed a total of 10 and 2/3 innings and struck out 10…tossed two shutout innings of relief vs. USC and picked up the win in a 6-4 victory (04/09)…tossed one shutout inning in win at Cal State Northridge (05/25).

In 10 appearances, pitched 16 and 2/3 innings with a 2.20 ERA and 3-0 record for the Santa Barbara Foresters of the California Collegiate League.

Missed most of the season, appearing in only eight games due to a knee injury • Made two early appearances (Feb. 17 and March 6) but didn’t pitch again until May 1 vs. USC, when he made his only start and tossed two innings, allowing a run that cost him the loss • Finished up 0-2 (other loss was May 15 in relief vs. UCLA) with a 6.92 ERA • Worked 13 innings • Walked four and struck out seven • Longest outing was his best --- three scoreless innings at Long Beach State in 5-1 loss on May 26 • Pitched in NCAA Regional at Oregon, charged with two runs in 0.2 innings in season finale vs. Austin Peay.

Was a three-year letterwinner for Head Coach Josh Lienhard and the Conquistadors at El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, Calif. • Compiled a career record of 25-7 and an ERA of around 2.00 and earned all-city recognition all three seasons • His best season came as a junior in 2010 (11-1, 1.56 ERA, 77 strikeouts) when he was named city player of the year • Was El Camino Real’s most valuable player in 2011 (6-4, 1.58 ERA, 75 strikeouts).
